Creating art is freeing and a battle. Learning to get out of my way is the biggest of them all - just as in life.

My work stems from my ties to nature, love of texture, and intuitive approach to painting. Whether reacting to the placement of color or working from a figure, I strive to create an image that reflects a feeling or emotion - even when it can’t be named.
